Aspen Mountain will open for a specific preview weekend Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15, twelve days earlier than the scheduled opening on Thanksgiving Day, November 26. 3 lifts and much more than one hundred acres of terrain will greet skiers and snowboarders on opening day. Skiers will upload and download on the Silver Queen Gondola to access the terrain.
“The rumors are real,” mentioned Rich Burkley, vice president mountain operations, Aspen Skiing Firm. “Given the latest series of storms, the cold climate and the tough operate of the Aspen Mountain crews it must come as no surprise that we are welcoming skiers and riders to the slopes this weekend.”
All season passes will be legitimate as they would be in the normal season. Lift tickets are $ 59 a day for grownups and $ 39 for children, youth and seniors. Extension days for Classic, Flex, Club Escape and Mountain Collective Passholders are just $ 29 for Grownups and $ 19 for little one, youth, seniors and school students. Sightseeing tickets are $ 21 adults and $ ten for all other individuals.
The Silver Queen Gondola, Ajax Express and Gentleman’s Ridge chairs will be open as will the Sundeck and Ajax Tavern. The Ski and Snowboard Schools and Four Mountain Sports activities will be open for business as typical.
Aspen Mountain and Snowmass will be open everyday for the season on Saturday, November 21, 5 days just before the scheduled opening. Lifts hrs are from 9 a.m. to three:30 p.m.
