Any day on the mountain is a good day in our eyes, but the same can be said for a night near the mountain as well. That’s why we suggest at least one overnight ski getaway every winter, because even a local can benefit from a little slopeside R&R. Nothing beats waking up steps from the chairlift, skiing all day, and then relaxing at the resort at night. The variety of ski resorts in Colorado means there are a plethora of ski/stay/play options for visitors, ranging from thrifty to downright lavish. Here’s a rundown of some of our favorites:
Arapahoe Basin

If you’re looking to treat yourself and ski with the best in the world, The Little Nell is hosting the second annual Click-In with Chris Davenport camp this March. This is no kid’s ski camp, Click-In with Chris Davenport is a multi-day ski & snowboard camp that provides access to exclusive adventures like The Nell’s Powder Cat to ski the backside of Aspen Mountain, First Tracks on fresh corduroy, a Nastar race and more. Don’t see your ski area of choice on here? That doesn’t mean there aren’t deals to be found.
