Any day on the mountain is a good day in our eyes, but the same can be said for a night near the mountain as well. That’s why we suggest at least one overnight ski getaway every winter, because even a local can benefit from a little slopeside R&R. Nothing beats waking up steps from the chairlift, skiing all day, and then relaxing at the resort at night. The variety of ski resorts in Colorado means there are a plethora of ski/stay/play options for visitors, ranging from thrifty to downright lavish. Here’s a rundown of some of our favorites:
Arapahoe Basin
Arapahoe Basin has a variety of lodging partners that offer discounts when you mention A-Basin, like their Key To the Rockies promotion, which can get you up to 45% off your stay. More information here: http://arapahoebasin.com/Abasin/tickets/hot-deals/lodging.aspx
